Barbecue Paneer/ White Paneer Tikka

Barbeque Paneer/ White Paneer Tikka:
  • 250 gms Paneer/Cottage Cheese


  • Cashewnuts: 10-12 (soaked in a little warm milk)
  • Khus Khus(poppy seeds):1 Tsp (lightly dry roasted on a pan)
  • One cheese cube
  • Half a green chilly or to taste
  • 4-5 mint leaves/pudina
  • Kasuri Methi( available in Indian stores): ¼ Tsp Salt
  • My Spice Voyage -Punjabi Garam Masala – ½ Tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste: ½ Tsp Ginger & 1 Tsp Garlic paste
  • (Optional Square cut pieces of Onion and Capsicum)


  1. Make a paste of all the above ingredients in a blender and marinate  the Paneer/ Cottage Cheese for 30 mins (also add onion and capsicum pieces to the marinade).
  2. Grill on a Skewer with alternating between Paneer, Onion and Capsicum)


Roast them on a pan with a little oil or butter
